Tim Felderman has served as a principal, assistant principal, and agricultural education instructor. Currently he is the instructional leaders at Crestwood Secondary school, Howard-Winneshiek Community Schools, Cresco, IA.
Focused on assessment for learning, relevance in curriculum design, and teacher leadership/collaboration, his core belief system revolves around student recognition systems and student centered instruction. His work in engaging students in a rural, diverse socioeconomic school district relies on building strong relationships between teachers, students, parents, and community members. Tim is providing leadership at Howard-Winn to transform teaching and learning by coordinating learning opportunities via the g2 (Global Generation) program (project based learning), Project Lead the Way, Competency Based Education, Standards Based Grading, flipped learning, 1:1 device implementation, and Common Core implementation.
